How to properly care for a new tattoo?

The type of ointment to use is A&D. Don't use Neosporin. Neosporin heals scars and thats what a tattoo is. You should clean it 2-3 times a day. But for the first few days your tattoo will ooze. So you will end up cleaning it more then 2-3 times a day. Loose fitting clothes is good. You start using the lotion after your tattoo gets done peeling. DO NOT TAKE THE PEELING OFF. The peeling will fall of naturally. You should apply your ointment often. Don't let your tattoo dry up. The type of lotion should be none scented. I hope this help. good luck with your new tattoo! :D
