Can I put my molly fry in their fry tank?
My mollies recently had a couple batches of fry. My black molly had a good batch of healthy, hardy babies... Only one stillborn, and that was the only one that died. We have a fry tank set up, and I was stupid enough not to put the mother in the fry tank, but in a net breeder in the main tank, and the fry are growing pretty rapidly, and they have little room. Should I put them into their fry tank? They're about 2 weeks old, but very big. My creamsicle molly on the other hand had a pretty unhealthy, most likely premature batch of babies... Several have died so far, probably about 7/30. They were born about 1 week ago, should I put them in as well? We put a few of the black ones in the fry tank earlier, and they're eagerly swimming at the top and playing in the plants. We've also been doing frequent water changes. Is it safe to put the rest of the fry in? We plan to 50% water changes every other day... Also, I was wondering if it was safe to put neon tetras or some young guppies in with them as well. (We just got the guppies from the store today) Also, will molly fry and platty fry get along? I figure they would, since they're all little, but my platty is about to drop. :) Sorry for all the questions, I'm just nervous, don't wanna lose my fry. x3
