What is it called to have a fear of underwater life?

I think I have a phobia (the fear of underwater species) I put A LOT of research into the topic! I have heard of "selicophobia" (the fear of sharks) but my fears go far beyond sharks. I believe this phobia was caused because of an event that happened when I was 11: I was on vacation at St.George Island in Florida with my family. I was walking along the shoreline during sunset and the beach was completely cleared, just me and the water (so I thought.) I looked out about four feet into the water to see what looked like a white triangular toy sail boat that must have been left in the water by a child. My immediate thought was to give the sail boat to my three year old nephew. I eagerly skipped into the water. As I reached out to grab the toy boat, I saw a long dark shadow floating below it. In shock, I realized I was seconds away from grabbing the fin of a five foot reef shark. My legs numbed as if I was dreaming, but I managed to run far onto land. The worst part is that when I shared my frightful story with my family, they acted as if I was lucky to experience such a "delightful and rare incounter with nature". No one understood my point of view, and as I began to develope a horrible fear, my mother taunted me in the pool by recreating the "JAWS" theme song. Since then, I will not go into the ocean or large lakes. Im also afraid of muskies, northerns, leaches, crabs, cray fish or any large fish. The thought of a shadow approaching my legs in deep water makes my complection go pale, and sends shivers down my spine. I also have nightmares about sharks and allagators often, though the dreams have reduced. Please help me diognose this phobia! Or if you experience a similar fear, tell your story!
