How can I begin my career in voice acting?

I was hired as a phone operator because my boss liked my voice. I have done speeches in church as a teen and presentations in in school in the past and people always have commented that I have a solid clear attractive voice.Voice acting IS MY ULTIMATE DREAM JOB. It is important to me that I like what I do. I am open to doing voice overs for anything I just need to get some exposure. I was very unhappy with being a phone operator, people can me so cruel and rude and yell at you almost everyday, and I had to remain pleasant no matter what was said to me. Please Help if you know how to help me and or know someone who has knowledge of this field. Much appreciated!! I eagerly await your replies!
