Am i a needy girlfriend?

My boyfriend and i are in love and plan on getting married in the future..were Im in the Army he just joined but we both ship off again in a few months .. well i told him that i wish he would show me more attention ..like before we dated he called me all the time now that were dating he stopped calling me only texting ..so i call him . And when were texting he either falls asleep or hes just watching tv or somthing or went to take a shower or do whatever ( he doesnt have a job or do activities) all i ask is that he at least tell me when hes getting ready to do something so i wont be texting and not getting a response so i wont feel ignored ..being ignored is absolutely one of the worst things in the world. he loves me ALOT and cares about me...today we were texting he took a while to respond then after i text back he responded 5 hours later ( we hadnt talked really at all today) saying he was reunited with his video games.. i tried not to be bitchy about it cause he said he was going to work on it so im bearing with him im not saying anything but it really does suck ... i know im important to him but id like to feel that way as well =( am i needy? if so feel free to be brutallyy honest. I really love this guy . thanx everyone douchebags as well lol *fellow lady douchebag
