Why don't Jehovah's witnesses know anything about their organization?

Don't you think its odd that you instantly dismiss any kind of valid argument as "Satan's temptation?"in your mind? without even a second thought? that you wont listen to anything regarding your beliefs if its not from the watch tower? I was a witness from birth until the age of about 17 and the witnesses are honestly some most ignorant people I have ever met. I was not a publisher and I of ridiculed for it. "your 14 and your not a publisher??" I wasn't even aloud to hang out with other witness children because of it. I had "elders meeting" EVERY MEETING about my spirituality and when I turned 17 and started dating my my current wife, I was told I couldn't possibly have a happy relationship without Jehovah in my life. I used to have panic attack because I was constantly told that at the end I was not going to make it because I was not spiritually strong enough. I realize to a witness I'm just another "apostate" and everything I say will be auto dismissed as "Satan's temptation" all I'm asking is for ONE MINUTE for you to open your eyes and actually look at the organization. Don't you find it weird that most witnesses don't know the names of the people in the governing body who they so eagerly follow? Who the president of the organization is? The HISTORY of the organizations? what about 1914, 1918, 1925, 1941, and 1975 the years Jehovah's witnesses said the world was going to end and was brushed of as error? I'm sorry I don't normally voice my opinion regarding this matter because my whole family are Jehovah's witnesses but I have to know how you think this could possibly be the truth when its been proven to be false so many times. I'm not trying to be a jerk I'm just in a turning point in my life and I need answers.
