Is it just me or are goldfish kinda stupid?

Goldfish are smart, they can remember things for several months, but they are very clumsy and klutzy. not the most elegant or dramatic fish (at least mine aren't). Goldfish seem more lost in the moment than other fish. Like sometimes my goldfish are hyper active puppies who are just so excited they crash into something. other times they float around and stare off into the distance like their day dreaming. Its not that their stupid, they just accept everything for what it is. Like the glass of the fish tank, they dont wonder why it's there, they just know its there. They dont know why the plastic plants seem different, they just know they are.
